Flyin' High In Eugene

Set just off the I-5, you'll find Eugene in western Oregon. As the seat of Lane County, Eugene is home to the University of Oregon Ducks, and is often referred to as "Track Town." Eugene has a rich history dating back to 1846, when city founder Eugene F. Skinner built the first cabin in the area. Guests of the Best Western hotels in Eugene enjoy visits to the McKenzie River, home to the Sahalie Falls Waterfall, and the Willamette River - so pack up that tackle box and head on out. Any trip into Eugene must feature a visit to the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History - kids two and under get in free. Be sure to visit the Oregon Air and Space Museum after a day of exploring the rich wonders of Oregon's state parks.

If there's one thing Eugene is nationally known for, is it's college football. Be sure to visit Autzen Stadium, home of the University of Oregon Ducks. Their season runs from September to December, so if you're in the area, be sure to attend a football game and watch as they shred their way through the Pac-12.
