Countless special events, community festivals, and family-friendly activities await Portland visitors, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure await just outside the city.
There’s still time to plan your ski trip this season, and Portland is just a short drive away from a number of first-rate ski areas. Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort in Mount Hood and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl in Government Camp are both easy day trip destinations and the remaining winter white means the drive promises to be as scenic as ever.
