Stay Near Siletz Bay for a Fabulous Fourth
Located along the U.S. Route 101/Oregon Coast Highway, the BEST WESTERN PLUS Landmark Inn gives guests quick access to Siletz Bay and a variety of year-round activities. The first week of July is arguably the best time to visit, however, as the bay and the adjoining communities of Lincoln City and Gleneden Beach light up for Fourth of July celebrations.
Siletz Bay Park is just two minutes south of our Lincoln City hotel via the 101 Highway. You can park further south of the bay at Gleneden Beach State Park. A great alternative would be to walk. The walk to the bay wouldn’t take much longer than a drive. Plus, the Oregon coast’s cool summer weather makes for a pleasant walk alongside the Pacific Ocean.
Each July 4th, the bay area fills with charming Americana. Things get started with a pancake breakfast at the Gleneden Beach Community Club on Azela Street before the Craft Fair & Food Court draw celebrators to Eden Hall. You can also enter a raffle to win one of nearly 50 prizes by purchasing a ticket at the Gleneden Beach Post Office. Check this year’s route to make sure you can score the best spot to watch the floats go by in the midday parade and make sure to be back at Siletz Bay by dusk, when fireworks light up the sky and reflect off the water below.
Our 100% smoke-free hotel is the perfect retreat for the whole family. Kids and adults alike will love a chance to cool off in our indoor pool and our hot tub is the best remedy for tired legs and feet. Rest easy and wake up to a free full, hot breakfast before you venture out to see more of what the quaint communities of the Oregon coast can offer.
